Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC)
has chosen Settlers Ridge in Sugar Grove, IL as the
site of its annual high-profile showcase, the 2006
Parade of Homes. The 2006 Parade of Homes, featuring
the designs of eight custom builders, will be
presented beginning October 11, 2006, and continue
through October 29, 2006 at Settlers Ridge, located
at the corner of Galena Blvd. and Gordon Road in
Sugar Grove, IL.
Settlers Ridge is the acclaimed 1,300-acre Kane
County lifestyle community of 2,470 new residences
currently under development by Kimball Hill Homes.
Designed with award-winning conservation land
planner Randall Arendt, eco-friendly Settlers Ridge
incorporates existing historic buildings and natural
land features in an area first settled by Europeans
in the 1670s. Settlers Ridge has been hailed as a
visionary, progressive community which, at the same
time, elicits much of the spirit and neighborliness
identified with turn-of-the-century villages.
“The designs to be showcased at the 2006 Parade of
Homes combine top-quality craftsmanship with
state-of-the-art amenities in the picturesque locale
of Settlers Ridge,” says Peter Schwartz, CEO of the
HBAGC. “The Home Builders Association of Greater
Chicago is privileged to have our industry
association represented by these eight builders at
this Kimball Hill Homes community, and home buyers
are sure to see lots of great new design ideas at
the fall event.” |
